Biography

Rachel Howard is a Photographer and Photo editor from the North of England. Rachel's work explores curltural and socio-political issues, relating to mental health, sexuality and gender representation. Her work uses visual metaphors, symbolism, photomontage, and digital editing techniques to constuct a surreal visual encounter with reality. This approach is aimed at challenging public perceptions on ongoing debates, such as, female representation, anonymity, and the growth of technology and its effects on society.
